Images
Resize a batch, convert a HEIC, or make a quick photo edit without leaving Finder.
How to use it
- Select one or more images in Finder, then right-click and choose MacEase.
- Choose a format or preset to run it immediately. Edit Photo… opens a preview with crop, color, styles, Compare Original, and Undo/Redo.
- Find the result next to the source. Use Activity or the menu bar’s Recent list to reveal or undo the result.
What you can do

- Crop, rotate, straighten, adjust color, apply styles or Auto Enhance; compare and undo edits with a histogram.

- Background
- Make the background transparent or replace it with green, blue, a custom color, or blur.
- Remove Metadata
- Strip all metadata, location only, or selected fields.

- Make Icon
- Export a macOS .icns, a Windows .ico, or an iOS AppIcon set.
- Trim Borders

Support and limits
- Edit Photo accepts single, still images. Animated and multipage images cannot be edited there. RAW exports retain the source; PSD conversion uses its stored composite.
- HDR color edits save a new SDR file. Format support depends on the input and codec; TGA requires ImageIO support.
- Trace to SVG… works with one static PNG, 1–8 colors, and three detail levels. It is intended for logos and flat shapes, not reconstructed photographs or editable text.
- Copy as Base64 is also available, hidden by default in Settings > Finder Menu.
Saving and Undo
Conversions and edits save a new file by default. Replace original verifies the result before moving the source to the Trash. Undo can skip files changed since the operation or originals no longer in the Trash.
