How to use it

1. Select a video, right-click, and choose MacEase > Edit Video….
2. Drag the timeline handles to set the range. Choose playback speed, resolution, crop, color, style, or volume.
3. Review the preview and save. For a batch, select several videos and use a menu preset such as Playback Speed > 2× or Compress.

What you can do

Resolution & Size

Scale by percentage or to a 2160p, 1080p, 720p, 480p, or 360p short edge. Custom Size… fits a box.

Edit Video…

Drag timeline handles; combine trim, speed, crop, rotation, color, styles, volume, and resolution in one export.

Playback Speed

0.5, 0.75, 1.25, 1.5, 2, and 4× presets, or Custom Speed… from 0.5 to 4×. Pitch is preserved.

Thumbnail

Save the first, middle, or a chosen frame as an image.

Subtitles

Transcribe to SRT, WebVTT, or plain text, or export translated SRT.

Compress

Discord, X, Instagram Reels, LINE, and Email presets, fixed size targets, quality levels, or a Custom Size….

Rotate

Rotate and flip videos horizontally or vertically.

Convert

MP4, MOV, M4V, MKV, WebM, AVI, or FLV. GIF, animated WebP, or APNG. SDR for supported HDR video.

Extract Audio

Save the soundtrack as M4A (AAC or ALAC), MP3, AAC, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, or Opus.

Frame Rate

Change the frame rate.

Remove Audio

Drop the audio tracks.

Background

Export with a transparent, colored, or blurred background.

Support and limits

• Playback speed ranges from 0.5–4× with pitch preservation. Low-resolution presets do not enlarge video.
• Container support does not guarantee every codec. Edits reject multiple video/audio tracks or streams they cannot preserve. Explicit exports retain the source and report omitted streams.
• HDR color edits save a new SDR file. SDR-to-HDR and AV1 encoding are not supported.
• Compression results depend on the source. Platform presets are editable app defaults, not current upload-limit guarantees. Speech and Translation require supported installed language assets.

Saving and Undo

Conversions and edits save a new file by default. Replace original verifies the result before moving the source to the Trash. Undo can skip files changed since the operation or originals no longer in the Trash.
